Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader in outsourced accounting for nonprofit organizations, recognized as a Best Place to Work in 2025. The role supports clients both virtually and on-site. We seek a dedicated Staff Accountant who will interact with clients and committees, maintain multiple client accounts, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3–5 years of related experience in public accounting or industry; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with full cycle accounting for multiple clients or entities.
• Strong communication and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency with multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks is a plus.
• Intermediate-level Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to client offices when safe to do so.
• Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required.
• Part-time work expectations noted for some roles; normal business hours emphasized.

Responsabilités

• Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
• Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly financials and related analysis
• Grant tracking and monitoring
• Cash flow projections and monitoring
• Preparation for outside audits
