Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader in outsourced accounting for nonprofit organizations, with a Florida footprint including Miami.

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team in a role with potential for promotion to Controller, a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and a rich benefits package.

Responsibilities include processing A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, monthly financials, grant tracking, cash flow projections, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Intermediate-level Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to client offices as needed when it is safe to do so.
• Nonprofit experience preferred.
• Our part-time employees are expected to work during normal business hours to best serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
• Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly financials and related analysis
• Grant tracking and monitoring
• Cash flow projections and monitoring
• Preparation for outside audits
