An established industry player seeks a full-time, non-tenure track Professional Practice Professor to lead a new Executive Master’s Program in Criminal Justice. The School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University, Newark campus, seeks applications for a full-time, 10-month non-tenure track (NTT) Professional Practice Professor appointment at the Associate level to develop and serve as the Executive Director of a new Executive Master’s Program. This program will be primarily tailored for full-time professionals working in criminal justice agencies and related local government and nonprofit entities. This is a 3-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. The teaching load is 1 course per semester, in addition to administrative duties associated with establishing and running the program.
The Executive Director will report to the Dean of the School of Criminal Justice and will work in collaboration with the Director of the School’s current MA programs, the School’s faculty, the Dean, and University partners.

The division of responsibilities for this position is as follows: administrative and program oversight (60%); training and classroom teaching of two courses per year (15%); research and scholarship (15%); and business management, event planning, and communications (10%). These responsibilities may be amended upon written notification and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
