American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Non-Ferrous Manager to lead the warehouse operations, ensure safety, accuracy, and growth across a high-value non-ferrous program. You will drive KPI-based performance, coach a skilled team, and collaborate with various stakeholders to meet business goals and expand capabilities.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, inventory control and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in non-ferrous recycling, metals processing, or related industry.
• Experience identifying, grading, and sorting non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, stainless).
• Proven leadership experience managing warehouse/production/industrial teams.
• Developing employees, improving team performance, fostering a positive environment.
• Experience managing inventory, monitoring metrics, driving efficiency.
• Safety-focused with strong safety culture understanding.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the non-ferrous warehouse, including receiving, sorting, processing and storage.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and EH&S standards.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct audits and ensure accuracy.
• Develop, track and report KPIs to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Coach and develop a team to support engagement and growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and material handling.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
