Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Site Manager to supervise and control site operations under the Regional Director. The role focuses on safety, quality, and production, with responsibility for planning, allocating resources, and continuous process improvement.

You will manage daily activities, lead a team, and ensure customer-focused service. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a similar management role in metal or manufacturing, strong leadership and planning skills, and

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in a similar management position, ideally in the metal or industrial manufacturing sector.
• Strong execution and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Loading trucks, equipment, rail cars, and assisting material handlers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations and purchasing of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the site team.
• Monitor performance, report results, and drive cost reductions.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality across operations.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate with management and customers.
