American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Non-Ferrous Manager to lead the warehouse operations, ensure safety, accuracy, and growth across a high-value non-ferrous program. You will drive KPI-based performance, coach a skilled team, and collaborate with various stakeholders to meet business goals and expand capabilities.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, inventory control and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in non-ferrous recycling, metals processing, or related industry.
• Experience identifying, grading, and sorting non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, stainless).
• Proven leadership experience managing warehouse/production/industrial teams.
• Developing employees, improving team performance, fostering a positive environment.
• Experience managing inventory, monitoring metrics, driving efficiency.
• Safety-focused with strong safety culture understanding.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As the Non-Ferrous Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our non-ferrous division, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive processing of materials. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, developing team members, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

What you're responsible for:

• Leading the daily operations of the non-ferrous warehouse, including receiving, sorting, processing, and storing materials.
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all company policies and environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Managing inventory levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular audits and reporting.
• Developing, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of employees to support engagement, performance, and growth.
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, material handling processes, and overall operational performance.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business objectives while overseeing a high-value non-ferrous operation.

Qualifications
