Job summary

AdventHealth in Riverview, FL is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopy services. You will monitor instruments, assist during procedures, and ensure a sterile, well-prepared environment for each patient.

Qualifications include a High School Grad, BLS CPR, and flexibility for 4-10 hour shifts with call hours. The pay range is $17.28–$27.65 per hour, with Day One benefits and a faith-based support culture.

Responsibilities

• Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.
• Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.
• Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice.
• Provides supportive care to patients under supervision of RN/physician.
• Ensures the endoscopy suite is prepared for procedures.
• Prepares the room with anticipated supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Demonstrates competency in care and handling of specimens.
• Checks equipment prior to each procedure to ensure proper functioning.
• Assists in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for endoscopy procedures.
• Maintains an orderly environment and supports the physician during procedures.
• Demonstrates proficiency in setup of multi-specialty endoscopy procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Checks all equipment and instruments needed prior to each procedure to ensure proper functioning.

• Demonstrates proficiency in the setup of multi-specialty endoscopy procedures.
