AdventHealth Winter Garden, Florida, is seeking an RN to join the team on a PRN basis. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases through our Clinical Ladder program based on experience and advancement criteria. The role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, individualized care plans, and accurate documentation.

Endoscopy, PACU or PREOP experience is preferred; active RN licensure and BLS are required. Schedule includes four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, with day shifts available.

Qualifications

• RN with active license required.
• 1+ year in acute care hospital preferred.
• Endoscopy, PACU or PREOP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physical, psychological, development, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, revising as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
• Endoscopy, PACU or PREOP experience required.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
