Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an experienced RN with endoscopy experience to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and maintain a safe patient environment. You will assist physicians and coordinate care with the interprofessional team to ensure quality and continuity of care.

The role requires at least 1 year of acute care nursing, with 2+ years of endoscopy experience preferred. RN licensure and BLS are required, ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure required.

Job Description:

Other duties as assigned. Promotes a healthy and safe environment for patients. Assists physicians and advanced providers during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Recognizes and responds appropriately to changes in patient health status. Collaborates and communicates effectively with the patient and interprofessional team to ensure quality and continuity of care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to function at a high level in a physically demanding, high-stress environment Demonstrated ability to work under stressful conditions Ability to work irregular hours including call hours Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft® Word and the ability to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs Displays working knowledge of endoscopic techniques
