DJ's Landscape Management in Wixom, MI is hiring a Seasonal Snow Salt Truck Driver (Non-CDL) to keep commercial lots safe during winter. No CDL required; Chauffeur's License and MDOT support available.

This on-site, part-time role runs November 15 to April 15 with potential full-time based on performance. We offer weekly pay, competitive hourly rates ($26–$30+ depending on experience and license), paid training, and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Non-CDL snow salt truck driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Duration

• Position is available for the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response
• Play a vital role in keeping our community safe during winter
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid Chauffeurs License (company will assist in acquiring one)
• Smart Phone
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one)
