Job summary

BSP Trans Inc is seeking a full-time local delivery driver in Vermont. You will operate a vehicle per safety procedures, performing local pickups and deliveries and coordinating with Dispatch for route updates and delays.

Requirements include passing the DOT drug test and physical, a county background check, and a clean driving record with the ability to lift 75 lbs. The role offers competitive hourly wages, overtime after 40 hours, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

• Perform freight pickups and deliveries within the local area, including commercial and residential deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with Dispatch for route updates, stops, and delays.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Start Time: 7:30 AM-9:00 AM, depending on business needs
$27.45 per hour, including a $1,000 sign-on bonus

BSP Trans Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Operate vehicle in accordance with BSP Trans, Inc. safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT and local, state and federal laws.
• Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the local area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism. Deliveries may include both commercial and residential.
• Effectively communicate with Dispatch for route updates and stops and any delays that are impactful of the daily schedule.

Requirements:

• Must successfully pass required DOT Drug Test and physical.
• Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding.
• Clean Driving and Safety Record
• Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects of more than 75 lbs.
