Job summary

BSP Trans, Inc. is hiring for a Full-Time 1st Shift Dockworker and Forklift Operator in Londonderry, NH. The role offers $21–$23 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and weekday hours, along with competitive benefits.

Job description

$21 - $23 Per Hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

BSP Trans, Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

We're currently hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Dockworker and Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team. If you're looking for a hands-on warehouse career with consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and excellent benefits, we'd love to meet you.

What you will do on a typical shift:

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods of time and may be slippery
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionally
• Be able to do math with and without a calculator

What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:

• Strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment with great communication skills
• To be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding

It would be great if you also have:

• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry
• Forklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environment
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Desire to succeed with a strong attention to detail
