Job summary

BSP Trans Inc. is hiring a CDL-B driver to operate in VT with a $29.70/hour wage and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. This full-time role requires safety compliance and customer service on routes across the VT area.

You will pick up and deliver freight, communicate with dispatch, and adhere to DOT and company standards. Benefits include paid life insurance, disability, retirement plan, PTO, and Holidays.

Qualifications

• CDL-B with HazMat endorsement required or willing to obtain
• DOT Medical Card required
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL experience
• Must pass DOT drug test and physical
• Clean driving and safety record
• Ability to lift/pull/push objects over 75 lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with safety procedures and laws
• Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within VT area, including commercial and residential
• Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates and delays

Job description

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Start Time: 7:30 AM-9:00 AM, depending on business needs
$29.70 per hour including a $1,000 sign on bonus

BSP Trans Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

What you will do on a typical shift:

• Operate vehicle in accordance with BSP Trans, Inc. safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT, and local, state, and federal laws
• Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the VT area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism. Deliveries include both commercial and residential
• Effectively communicate with dispatch for route updates and stops and any delays that are impactful of the daily schedule

What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:

• CDL B with HazMat endorsement.If you do not have a Hazmat Endorsement, we will help you obtain it
• DOT Medical Card
• A minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL Experience
• Must successfully pass required DOT Drug Test and physical
• Clean Driving and Safety Record
• Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects of more than 75 lbs
