Top Dog Recruiting seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a nocturnist team in Dothan, Alabama. The role focuses on overnight care for hospitalized adults, collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualificações

• Active NP or PA license required.
• Board certification required.
• Experience in inpatient, hospitalist, critical care, emergency, or acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a physician-led team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform 12-hour night shifts (8:00 PM–8:00 AM).
• Provide hospital-based care to adult patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Manage admissions, daily rounds and cross-coverage.
• Order, interpret, and act on labs and imaging.
• Adjust medications as needed and respond to changes overnight.
• Document and communicate patient activities timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with doctors and hospital leadership to improve care quality.
