KingRecruitingServices is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our nocturnist team in Dothan, Alabama. The selected candidate will provide overnight care to hospitalized adults, collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an NP or PA license with board certification, ICU or inpatient experience preferred, and strong clinical judgment.

Formación

• Must hold valid NP or PA license and board certification.
• Experience in inpatient, hospitalist, critical care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical decision making and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a physician-led team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Deliver hospital-based care to adult patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Manage admissions, daily rounds, and cross-coverage duties.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging results.
• Adjust medications and treatments as required for patient care.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions overnight.
• Collaborate with doctors and hospital leadership to improve patient care quality.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and communication of patient activities.
