Management Performance Associates seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the nocturnist team in Dothan, Alabama. The selected candidate will provide overnight, hospital-based care to adult patients in a fast-paced setting, collaborating closely with physicians and hospital staff.
This full-time, night-shift position runs 8:00 PM–8:00 AM, offering a stable schedule, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits.
Qualificações
- Current NP/PA license in good standing.
- Board certification mandatory for role.
- Experience in inpatient, hospitalist, critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Perform 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- Deliver comprehensive hospital-based care to adult patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Manage admissions, daily rounds, and cross-coverage duties.
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging results.
- Adjust medications and treatments as needed for patient care.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions overnight.
- Collaborate with doctors and hospital leadership to improve care quality.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient activities.
