Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a TDM Network Control Specialist to join the NOCC team in Melbourne, FL. You will be the first line of contact to troubleshoot and support a large nationwide network, collaborating with field teams across North America.

The role requires monitoring, analysis, and rapid response to network incidents, with experience in SONET, TDM, and Layer 1–3 technologies. On-site work and a rotating shift schedule are essential for this position, with potential for emergency

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2–4 years of related experience.
Strong knowledge of Layer 1–3 networking and associated technologies.
Experience troubleshooting large nationwide networks.
Ability to work rotating shifts in NOCC onsite; on-site only.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for a large nationwide network using NOCC tools and monitoring.
Monitor alarms and perform root-cause analysis to restore services with minimal disruption.
Analyze channelized/unchannelized T1/T3, Ethernet, IP, Frame Relay, WAN, LAN, SONET, and TDM.
Assist LECs/IXCs and field technicians to resolve WAN/local issues remotely.
Support 24x7x365 NOCC operations with rotating shifts; on-site work is required.
