Job summary

OpenKyber is seeking a NOC Tier I Engineer to monitor customer networks, respond to outages, and coordinate with vendors. You will troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and voice systems, with ownership of issues and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer networks and respond to outages or performance issues.
• Troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and voice systems.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with vendors during outages.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and interactions clearly.
• Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership.
• Participate in network upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
