Job summary

CCR Technologies’ BeyondReach unit seeks a NOC Technician Tier I to monitor queues, troubleshoot client issues, and maintain service levels. You will work with field techs, clients, and vendors, guiding users and documenting solutions to ensure rapid resolution.

The role requires 2–3 years in NOC/tech support, relevant certifications (Security+, Network+, CCNA/CCENT preferred), and hybrid work in Cedar Rapids, IA. On-call weekends/holidays are included.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a NOC or technical support role.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+ or CCNA/CCENT preferred.
• Experience with monitoring mission-critical applications and services.
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IP addressing, VLANs, VPNs.
• On-call rotation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor NOC work queues to provide troubleshooting and resolution to clients.
• Provide phone support with field technicians, clients, and vendors.
• Instruct users on actions regarding solutions and maintenance with clear communication.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, hardware, network, and software issues.
• Maintain familiarity with all products and services offered and stay updated on new technologies.
• Carry 24x7 on-call responsibilities on rotating basis including weekends and holidays.
