Fatbeam, a Boise, Idaho based fiber internet provider, seeks a detail-oriented NOC Tier 1 Technician to monitor and maintain our network infrastructure and ensure uptime. This entry‑level to mid‑level role supports customers and internal teams, triages incidents, and coordinates with field techs as needed.

The candidate should have 1–2 years IT support experience, an associate degree in CS/IT, and CCNA/Network+ certifications are a plus.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced tracks.
• 1–2 years IT support experience, preferably in a NOC or similar environment.

Mansioni

• Monitor network systems and servers for unusual activity or failures.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform regular maintenance and preventative checks on network equipment.
• Provide technical support to other teams or clients as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of network status, incidents, and resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with network engineers and IT staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide reports on network status, project progress, and risk assessments.
