Job summary

Leidos in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Operations Shift Lead for 3rd shift (9 PM–5 AM) to manage the CESO operations on-site. You will lead tasks, monitor critical infrastructure, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure SLA adherence.

This role requires a TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8750 IAT II, and experience guiding an on-call team through incidents. Excellent communication and risk-based decision making are essential to maintain secure, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in Windows or Linux server environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8750 IAT level II (Security+ce) or equivalent.
• Willing to obtain CI Poly in future.
• Willing to work 24x7 shifts, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Experience leading an operations team or senior escalation point.
• Strong incident coordination and communication skills.
• Decision-making under pressure during outages.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Splunk.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident/Problem/Change).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift operations during assigned hours.
• Monitor networks, systems, applications for outages and performance.
• Triage, escalate, and resolve incidents to closure.
• Coordinate with network, security, and vendor teams.
• Maintain runbooks and shift documentation.
• Prepare incident reports and operational metrics.
• Participate in major incident reviews.
• Mentor junior staff during complex incidents.
