Job summary

Prime System Solutions is seeking a NOC Engineer to maintain a stable and secure IT environment for clients, with a focus on network performance and proactive issue prevention.

You will automate repetitive tasks, develop reporting, and support patch management across Windows, macOS, and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes scripting (PowerShell, Python), collaboration with IT teams, and delivering clear, actionable reports to clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and implementing automation using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
• Understanding of automation principles and tools; troubleshooting automation issues.
• Experience with producing performance baselines for servers and network devices.
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverage scripting and automation tools to streamline processes and reduce issue time.
• Develop and implement automation to minimize engineer involvement in tickets.
• Create tools for faster issue resolution and self-service for clients.
• Automate Windows, 3rd party, and Mac patching via VSA, Addigy, and Intune.
• Maintain RMM platform (Kaseya) and analytics (BrightGauge).
• Provide automated patch-status reports and endpoint compliance.
• Write custom reports for NOC and Service Desk with Power BI and BrightGauge.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate automation with existing systems.
• Maintain documentation of scripts, tools, and procedures.
