Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled NOC Analyst to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong networking knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and a background in Level 2 and Level 3 Help Desk/Desktop Support. Experience with Linux administration and system management is highly preferred.

Local candidates based in or near Columbus, Ohio, are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage network infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Identify and resolve network issues using diagnostic tools, testing software, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for network, desktop, and system-related issues.
• Investigate network incidents, determine root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Support network security and reliability by identifying and resolving connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Perform system monitoring, incident handling, and troubleshooting to minimize service disruptions.
• Assist with Linux system administration and related operational tasks, as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support network operations outside regular working hours.
• Work onsite when required for testing, troubleshooting, and other business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in network infrastructure management, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network diagnostic tools.
• Strong Level 2 and Level 3 Help Desk/Desktop Support experience.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
• Knowledge of network performance, security, and reliability practices.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and system management.
• Experience supporting enterprise network and IT infrastructure environments.
