Job summary

Zimbrick, Inc in Madison, WI is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service and accurate parts recommendations. You will work with technicians to ensure the right parts arrive on time and support customers in person or by phone.

This full-time position includes training, uniforms, a benefits package, and opportunities to learn from experienced staff in a fast-paced environment. Lift up to 75 pounds and occasional Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive or parts experience preferred, but training is available.
• Basic computer skills to use web-based catalogs and shipping software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technicians with the correct parts to maximize efficiency.
• Assist customers in-person and over the phone.
• Pull parts orders for daily shipments, deliveries, or pickups.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with reconciliation.
• Handle special order parts and routine customer requests.

You will play a key role in delivering Outstanding Customer Service, as you engage with our customers to deliver the right part, on time, every time.

What You Will Do

• Provide our technicians with the correct parts to maximize their efficiency
• Assist our external customers in-person and on the phone
• Pull parts orders for daily shipments, deliveries or pick-ups
• Monitor parts inventory levels and assist with inventory reconciliation
• Work with customers on special order parts
• Fulltime with an occasional Saturday

Requirements

• Prior automotive and/or parts experience preferred, but willing to train if you’re willing to learn!

• A valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Must be 18 years or older
