Job summary

DAVISON AUTO PARTS in Forest Grove, OR is seeking a friendly Parts Counter Professional to deliver great customer service at the counter. You’ll help customers find the right auto parts, process orders, and keep operations running smoothly.

We’ll provide training on NAPA KNOW HOW; you’ll grow your knowledge and build a stable career with a nationally recognized brand in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Prior automotive or parts experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in identifying and purchasing the correct auto parts
• Answer incoming calls and provide knowledgeable, friendly customer support
• Accurately place, process, and fulfill parts orders in a timely manner
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick-up or delivery
• Utilize inventory, catalog, and POS systems efficiently
• Support teammates when working with customers and during busy periods
• Assist with stocking and maintaining store organization as part of daily tasks
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, teammates, and management
• Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful workplace
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role. Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
• Bend, reach, climb stairs, and pull parts as needed throughout the shift
• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
