Job summary

Acura of Brookfield is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist in Madison, WI to deliver outstanding customer service and keep parts moving to technicians and customers. You will engage with customers in person and over the phone, pull and stock parts, and support inventory control in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The ideal candidate has a safety-minded attitude, is thorough and accurate, and a self-motivated team player who can work with minimal supervision while upholding the company’s core

Responsibilities

• Provide technicians with the correct parts to maximize efficiency.
• Assist customers in-person and on the phone.
• Pull parts orders for daily shipments, deliveries, or pick-ups.
• Monitor parts inventory levels and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Work with customers on special order parts.
• Fulltime with an occasional Saturday.

You will play a key role in delivering Outstanding Customer Service, as you engage with our customers to deliver the right part, on time, every time.

What You Will Do

• Provide our technicians with the correct parts to maximize their efficiency
• Assist our external customers in-person and on the phone
• Pull parts orders for daily shipments, deliveries or pick-ups
• Monitor parts inventory levels and assist with inventory reconciliation
• Work with customers on special order parts
• Fulltime with an occasional Saturday

Requirements

• Prior automotive and/or parts experience preferred, but willing to train if you’re willing to learn!
• Basic computer knowledge needed to use web-based sales tools, catalogs and shipping software
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Must be 18 years or older
