Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for the Inpatient Med/Surg East unit. This full-time role oversees staffing, patient flow, care delivery, and collaboration with physicians and administrative staff to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, current MO RN license, BLS certification, and 2–3 years of direct patient care. Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri.
• 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as staff nurse when needed and assume delegated managerial duties.
• Ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care and support process improvements.
