Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for the Inpatient Med/Surg East unit in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on safe, high-quality patient care, staffing, and collaboration with physicians and admin staff to improve processes.

Responsibilities include coordinating operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to Mercy standards while supporting bed management and patient flow. A minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care and an active Missouri RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license or temporary permit in Missouri.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy Service Standards and organizational policy.
