Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on the Med/Surg unit. In this role you will assist with activities of daily living, transport supplies, and monitor patient conditions under supervision, while delivering compassionate, respectful care.

The position offers part-time variable shifts, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities to gain hands-on nursing experience on a busy unit that cares for diverse patients,

Qualifications

• CNA certification in Utah required or must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course within past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, ambulation and comfort measures.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly and document findings.
• Transport medications and assist the RN as required on unit.
