Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a field supervisor on the Thacker Pass project in Nevada to monitor direct hire and subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities with multiple stakeholders. Your role ensures activities align with schedules and are executed safely in a complex environment.

You will support construction field engineers, foremen, and craft professionals, coordinating engineering solutions and constructability with design teams. Strong OSHA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiar with construction tools and equipment.
• Extensive technical knowledge and experience in electrical operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and Bechtel safety program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience managing union craft.
• Heavy industrial U.S. direct hire construction experience.
• Knowledge of Bechtel Core Processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, coordinating with subcontractor management staff.
• Supports mid-size projects with multiple stakeholders’ involvement.
• Monitors construction schedules, resource charts, and material/equipment requirements.
• Reviews construction methods, schedules, and manning charts.
• Coordinates with design on constructability issues.
