Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is executing the Thacker Pass project in Nevada as the EPCM contractor, overseeing electrical design and construction for the facility. The Electrical Engineer will lead technical direction, coordinate field activities and ensure compliance with project drawings and schedules.

The role requires strong experience in electrical construction, interfacing with engineering, procurement and field teams, and a commitment to safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• University/B.S degree in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience (may be waived for 12-14 years).
• Experience with Bechtel direct hire craft is preferred.
• Contract management experience.
• Understanding Bechtel work processes (Standard Work Process Procedures) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must have experience with construction in all areas of electrical construction.
• Coordinate with supervision the work schedule and material deliveries.
• Prepare field change documentation and as-built documentation as required.
• Interface with engineering to resolve design and constructability issues.
• Work with Procurement's expediting team to ensure timely delivery of vendor materials.
