Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a seasoned Construction Supervisor for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will monitor direct hire craft and subcontractor activities, align schedules, and enforce safety and quality standards on a high‑profile EPCM effort.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design and engineering teams, reviewing subcontractor methods, and supporting field personnel to ensure safe, efficient project execution. Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in heavy industry required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience leading Direct Hire craft and subcontractor teams on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical operations and codes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with union craft management.
• Heavy industrial US direct hire construction experience.
• Familiar with construction planning and control.
• Knowledge of safety OSHA requirements and Bechtel safety program.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and organizes Direct Hire craft and subcontractor activities with coordination of subcontractor management staff.
• Monitors Direct Hire or subcontractor construction schedules, resources, and material/equipment needs.
• Prepares Direct Hire methods, schedules, manning, and material/equipment requirements; reviews subcontractor plans.
• Coordinates construction operations impact on external interfaces to align with schedules.
• Monitors installation to ensure conformance with drawings, specs, and vendor requirements.
• Enforces Bechtel field policies and procedures.
• Supports Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals in interpreting technical documents.
• Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors and Foremen.
