Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a safety-focused professional for ES&H oversight on the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will inspect field execution for compliance with safety requirements and support engineering, procurement, and construction teams in addressing ES&H issues on site.

You will verify PPE use, perform daily site surveillance, and contribute to continuous improvement through data analysis and incident investigations. A strong knowledge of OSHA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910.
• Understanding of Bechtel's ESH Core Processes (preferred).
• Can perform root cause analysis as needed for incident investigations.
• Conducts Project Contractor Orientation Leads and implements Project ESH Audits, monitoring completion of specified corrective actions.
• Coaches Contractor Project and Safety Team on the Bechtel Processes and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance in ES&H disciplines to facilitate implementation of Bechtel's ES&H program.
• Maintains ES&H databases including incidents and corrective actions.
• Performs statistical analysis of ES&H data to identify trends.
• Leads risk assessment, studies, and mitigation planning for ES&H issues.
• Prepares communications and incident investigation reports.
• Supports ES&H field personnel across disciplines.
