Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support in a licensed residential facility. You will assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement while promoting independence and dignity.

The schedule is Tue-Sat 11:00pm-7:00am, totaling 40 hours per week. Paid training is offered; no experience is required, and benefits include a 403b and AFLAC coverage.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid.
• Provide and maintain a valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
