Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support and care in a licensed community residential facility. DSPs help with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Position offers paid training and benefits with no experience required. Schedule includes evening and night shifts totaling 38 hours per week, with a focus on documenting progress and maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications
• Provide and Maintain a Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurable under company policy

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care to clients.
• Promote independence by teaching daily living and behavior skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities to foster growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly (time/attendance, logs, notes, reports).
• Participate in planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Use least intrusive interventions to support clients effectively.
• Encourage community integration and use of public resources.
