Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized care in a licensed community residential facility. DSPs assist with daily living, personal care, and community engagement while promoting independence and dignity.

Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm, 40 hours per week. We offer paid training, no experience required, and benefits including 403b and AFLAC. Join a caring team focused on empowering clients to thrive and participate in the community.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Must pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required and insurable under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
