Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized care in a licensed community residential facility. The role focuses on supporting daily living, personal care, and community engagement while promoting independence and dignity.

Schedule includes evening hours (Thurs 11:30pm-7:30am, Fri-Sat 11:30pm-6:30am) for a total of about 22 hours per week. Training is paid and experience is not required; benefits and a 403b/AFLAC plan are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications.
• Provide and Maintain a Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurable under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
