Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort is seeking a Daily Revenue Clerk to assist the Resort Operations Controller with nightly revenue audits and to record daily transactions across multiple departments. The role supports the Accounting team and distributes daily statistics to key staff.

Ideal candidates will have basic accounting experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior accounting office experience preferred.
• College courses in accounting helpful.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve daily postings from staff who entered financial transactions.
• Balance and record postings for Spa Grand Traverse, Golf, Retail, F&B, Accounting Offices, Membership, AV.
• Close open outlet tickets and run register.
• Process and submit for payment all credit card transactions.
• Post room tax and fees to occupied rooms nightly.
• Record cash, checks, gift cards, gift certificates and credit card transactions.
• Pull daily and month end reports to balance data for gift cards, certificates and vouchers.
• Maintain accuracy of final numbers in master accounting sheet.
• Cross train in other accounting areas as needed.
• Maintain deadlines for accounting reports.
