Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is seeking a Daily Revenue Clerk to join our Accounting team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role focuses on daily revenue processing, balancing transactions, and ensuring accurate financial records for resort departments.

You will assist with the nightly revenue audit, post room taxes and fees, and generate daily and monthly reports, contributing to the resort's financial integrity and operational success.

If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with numbers in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we have an opportunity to join our Accounting team and support the Resort’s daily financial operations. This position plays an important role in completing the nightly revenue audit, balancing transactions across Resort departments, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing support to the Accounting team.

What You’ll Do

• Process and balance daily revenue transactions from Resort departments.
• Reconcile cash, checks, gift cards, gift certificates, and credit card transactions.
• Post room taxes and additional fees to occupied guest rooms.
• Prepare daily and monthly accounting reports and verify financial information for accuracy.
• Assist with the nightly revenue audit and provide support to the Accounting team as needed.
