Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches by hooking and moving a parked trailer to a door or to the yard.
• Communicates with management to coordinate trailer movements in the yard.
• Documents trailer moves using yard management system or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Loads and unloads packages onto or from vehicles and conveyors for 2–4 hour shifts.
