Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Water Operator I to operate and maintain equipment in water treatment facilities. This role requires routine testing of wells and unit processes, documentation of plant performance, and on-call emergency repairs as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to pursue water/wastewater certification. CDL is preferred; some regulatory knowledge is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Willing to study required material and obtain water/wastewater certification.
• Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures, and safe practices.
• Ability to perform routine on-site maintenance and emergency repairs of treatment equipment.
• Knowledge of regulatory rules is essential.
• Previous water/wastewater treatment experience is desirable.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and monitors pumps, valves, motors, and related machinery.
• Conducts routine testing and maintenance of wells and unit processes; documents usage and plant performance.
• Responds to call-outs and emergencies to repair equipment and systems.
• Ensures facilities are clean, secure and customer service is provided when needed.
• Willing to work on-site across multiple shifts, including 24-hour on-call.
