Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Water Operator I to operate and maintain equipment at our water treatment facilities. The role includes routine testing, monitoring, and basic lab analyses, with documentation of plant performance and chemical dosages.

The successful candidate will respond to emergencies, maintain clean facilities, and provide customer service as needed. Tennessee-based position with diverse shifts, including weekends and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; willingness to obtain certifications.
• Water or wastewater license(s) per site requirements preferred/necessary.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet usage.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment including valves, pumps, and disinfection equipment.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring and basic lab analyses.
• Documents plant performance: daily flow, chemical usage and dosage.
• Responds to call-outs and emergencies to repair equipment.
• Maintains clean, secure facilities and supports customer service.
• Willing to work all shifts, weekends and 24-hour on-call.
