Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and coordinate our warehouse operations, reporting to the Manager/Director. This role focuses on improving productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.

You will oversee forecasting, replenishment, and delivery of products to customers, while ensuring compliance with USDA and FDA regulations. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in food

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
• In lieu of degree, minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Minimum five years related experience in a high level management position with P&L responsibility
• Produce and/or food distribution experience required
• Working knowledge of USDA & FDA compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, warehousing and control of materials from forecasted replenishment to finished goods inventory and delivery to customers
• Ensures compliance with USDA and FDA regulations and ethical standards
• Participates in product planning to ensure timely acquisition of materials for launches
• Oversees all warehouse operations and processes
• Manages efficiency, timeliness and accuracy of delivery of finished goods to customers
• Executes special projects in a timely manner
• Assists with establishing annual goals aligned with corporate objectives
• Hires, coaches and mentors staff and builds strong teams
• Collaborates with all levels of the organization as part of the Executive Management Team
