Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Lead Night Warehouse Operator to oversee the preparation of products for next-day delivery. You will direct associates to ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded onto trucks, and you’ll help maintain readiness for receiving the next day.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution with receiving and inventory control.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety requirements.
• Ability to manage schedules, workload, and productivity.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse; inspect equipment and arrange repairs.
• Assist with employee schedules, workload, and productivity; ensure nightly picking/loading/replenishing.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety requirements.
• Cover other areas of the warehouse and oversee night operations when supervisor is absent.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline staff; monitor and appraise results.
