Job summary

US Foods in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a unionized hourly workforce, drive safe and efficient operations, and ensure accurate receiving, storage, and outbound loading of product.

The role emphasizes people development, cost control, and service excellence, with a Sunday–Thursday shift. You will coach, schedule, and partner with senior managers to meet safety targets and performance metrics in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Three years of warehouse distribution experience.
• Experience overseeing a workforce.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret operational data.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to maintain a safety-first culture.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training.
• Direct and supervise work to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Participate in hiring and performance reviews with Sr. Warehouse Managers.
• Ensure accurate orders, staging, and loading for shipping and receiving.
