Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and shipping materials in a warehouse or yard. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 5pm to 1:30am, with responsibility for staffing and payroll of the department.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics or distribution, and experience leading 50+ direct reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a logistics, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determines staffing needs and schedules staff accordingly.
• Reviews and updates procedures and communicates them to warehouse staff.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supervises payroll.
