Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a logistics, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ direct reports is required.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews inbound appointment logs and open order reports daily to plan work.
• Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determines staffing needs and schedules staff accordingly.
• Assigns workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Reviews and communicates updated procedures to warehouse staff.
• Tracks productivity and evaluates performance by team and function.
• Coordinates with Inventory Control to maintain accuracy.
• Manages payroll for the department.
• Advises on handling of items and use of equipment.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and resolves grievances.
