Job summary

Kenco Group in California is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and guide warehouse associates, covering training, safety, and daily tasks. The role supports the supervisor and ensures operations run smoothly across shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling.

You'll supervise a night shift Sunday through Thursday 6:00pm-2:30am, oversee inspections, reporting, and compliance with SQFI/FDA standards while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks per Safety Checklist.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles, as needed.
• Depending on department, other duties may apply.
