Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Warehouse Operator IV for night shift (7:00p-7:30a) in Savannah, GA. The role is the SME on the floor, supervising workflow, training associates, and ensuring safety and GMP compliance while coordinating shipments and inventory within the warehouse.

The position requires 3+ years of experience, forklift certification, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required; English literacy and basic digital device usage are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain valid forklift operator certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to follow safety procedures including Nestlé Life Saving Rules.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs., stand, climb, bend.
• Proficient with basic digital devices (computers, iPad).
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs and all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse and ensure timely deliveries.
• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments against documents (bills of lading, packing lists, POs).
• Inspect forklifts/equipment and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records via cycle counts and updates to systems.
• Organize storage areas and ensure materials are labeled and accessible.
• Coordinate daily activities with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide updates and report issues to the supervisor; support a positive work environment.
• Train associates on specific job functions on the job site.
• Perform general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
