Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Warehouse III Operator to safely operate forklifts and support shipping, receiving, and inventory cycle counts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, maintaining accurate records, and training associates while upholding safety and KPI goals. This role requires a valid forklift certification and a high school diploma, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against relevant documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems.
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate daily activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide updates, report issues, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials accurately for shipment, following established procedures and safety guidelines while maintaining KPI’s.
• Act as an on-the-job trainer and deliver essential training to associates for specific job functions.
